Location
Opened in 2007, Coiba Dive Center is located on the main street of Santa Catalina, Panama. Coiba Dive Center is just steps from the beach and is equipped to provide all of the comforts you expect in a full service dive center. At over 1,800 square feet our shop offers guests and students the following amenities: spacious classroom, clean restroom, shower, equipment rinse and storage areas, cold beverages for sale and free coffee in the morning. Rental Gear
We have great equipment from top to bottom. We overhaul our equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper working order and safety. We also offer full and shorty wetsuits, mask, snorkel and fin rentals.
Boats
Punta Brava IV is a high side 25 ft. fiberglass boat with a 200 horsepower outboard engine. All boats in the area have outboard motors due to the dramatic tidal changes. Punta Brava IV is one of the most comfortable, reliable and fastest boats available in the area, touting a full canopy, VHF radio, GPS, O2 and plenty of storage on board. Our second boat, Manta Raya is 27 ft. and is equally equiped.
Compressors
Our compressors are well maintained and kept out of the elements. We are currently using a Coltri MCH-16, Bauer K-14, and a Bauer Junior II portable. The filters and oil are changed regularly. We breathe the same air as you do.
Our Crew
We currently have three full time PADI instructors and one dive master available to acompany you on your dives along with snorkel guides and licensed boat captains. We also have seasonal instructors joining our team.

Julie Berry and Glenn Massingham are the owners of Coiba Dive Center, personally ensuring that each step of your trip is rewarding. With over thirty years of combined PADI instructor experience they are passionate about diving and it shows.
